Mew The Movers, based on the Isle of Wight, was established in the 1920’s with the aim of providing a reliable removal service islandwide, nationwide and worldwide.
Our company was established over 100 years ago with the aim of providing a reliable removal service for the Isle of Wight.
Initially based in Ventnor, our business has grown resulting in the relocation of our operating centre to larger premises at Chapel Lane, Merstone, where we provide high quality storage.
Mew The Movers was founded by Albert Mew in the 1920’s. We are very proud of our History and our long-standing reputation here on the Island with an incredibly loyal customer base.

Removals Services
Covering the whole of the Isle of Wight for a century – we offer 3.5tonne, 7.5tonne and 18tonne vehicles.
We have a choice of vehicles suitable for different types and sizes of moves incorporating air suspension, tail-lift or side loading container doors for easy access.
Our staff are highly experienced in moving a variety of articles including heavy items such as piano’s and carry equipment to handle such items.
